Work
Alan is Senior Partner with the firm. He joined us after university and has been with the firm ever since. Alan acts for a wide range of companies, professional partnerships and individuals, mainly owner-managed businesses, but also for a number of UK subsidiaries of European parent companies. He enjoys being able to build long-term relationships with clients, getting to know them and in many cases their families, so that he can understand and help them to achieve their business and personal objectives.
Play
Alan spends most of his spare time with his family, friends and dog! He’d love to say he has really adventurous hobbies but in truth he’s more likely to be slumped in front of the TV relaxing! In no particular order he enjoys socialising with friends, travel, reading, decent red wine, gardening (or at least keeping the garden looking tidy), music and trying to extend his cooking skills beyond basic student recipes! Alan enjoys living and spending as much time as possible out and about in the Lakes, and feels very fortunate to live there.
