Accountants and Business advisory firm Armstrong Watson have today announced its membership of Welcome to Yorkshire’s Y30 Club. With the firms growing demand to advise family businesses and the knowledge within the group across the hospitality and leisure industry it was an easy decision to step in as their newest member.
Although for Welcome to Yorkshire and many clients we know the build up to July is a busy period, we see the relationship being for the long term and look forward to working together to add value and support to many businesses across the region with the introduction of our own ‘Y’ Armstrong Watson campaign messages.
We have been advising the hospitality and tourism sector in our heartland of Cumbria for many years and have brought our experience and sector knowledge into Yorkshire. Through our four offices in Northallerton, Skipton, Bradford and Leeds the support and advice we have already been delivering through our strategic review product simply titled ‘Blue’ has already benefitted a number of hospitality businesses.
Mike Kienlen, Lead Partner, said: ‘our new membership to Y30 was an easy decision and will focus a lot of our teams’ energies into helping a wide range of growing businesses within Yorkshire. I have no doubt the relationship between the two organisations will also lead to some very interesting conversations and opportunities for our team and clients alike.’
Gary Verity, Chief Executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, said: 'It is great to welcome Armstrong Watson to our Y30 scheme, we are a collective of likeminded businesses working together for the greater good of Yorkshire and its future success. I look forward to Armstrong Watson's input and ideas and sharing our expertise at this exciting time for Yorkshire.'
With plans in place to bring in even greater resource to Leeds in July the firm are looking forward to introducing all the reasons ‘Y’ Armstrong Watson will be the ideal partner to complement Yorkshire businesses ambitions for profit and growth.
