Armstrong Watson scored a hat-trick in this year’s national ‘Top Employers for School & College Leavers Survey 2014/2015’ as published in today’s Independent newspaper.

Beating off strong competition from big businesses for the second year running; both in the accountancy sector such as Deloitte and KPMG and the wider business economy such as Morrisons and Santander.

Armstrong Watson was ranked 7th in the ‘Top School Leaver Programmes’ that was introduced in this year’s award, 16th in the ‘Top Employers for School & College Leavers (Level 4 or above)’ and 21st in the overall ‘Top Employers’ category.

The Top Employers for School & College Leavers ranking is based on employee satisfaction surveys completed by school and college leavers who are currently taking part in school leaver programmes, Higher Apprenticeships and sponsored degree programmes in the UK.

Each survey participant is quizzed on a variety of topics, including: job satisfaction, skills development, training, career progression, salary and benefits, company culture, level of responsibility, working environment, team relationship and work-life balance.

Paul Dickson, Managing Partner at Armstrong Watson commented: “I think this is testament to our training programme and the development that we provide to trainees that join Armstrong Watson giving them experience in working with our clients.
