Caroline Bedford

Forensic Associate Director

About Caroline

Caroline is ‘Big 4’ trained and has specialised in forensic accounting for over 20 years, spending 17 years with a Boutique firm where she assisted insurer and solicitor clients in the quantification of economic losses across a broad range of claims, disputes and insurance litigation, including: personal injury/fatal accident, professional negligence, product liability and subrogation/recovery actions (relating to business interruption). She has also worked directly with insurers on business interruption claims arising from property damage and fraud/employee fidelity claims, as well as providing quantum input to clients in relation to commercial and regulatory litigation.

Following on from this, prior to joining Armstrong Watson, Caroline managed and grew forensic accounting instructions for a Preston based accountancy firm which included valuing businesses and shareholdings in matrimonial disputes, had a brief diversion into teaching, and worked within the Forensic Accounting Services division of a large loss adjusting company, quantifying business interruption claims arising from Covid-19.

Caroline recognises the need to be commercial and the importance of providing the most appropriate work product for a client, be that telephone advice, a file note, a brief letter, an advisory report or full expert witness report.
