Armstrong Watson has acquired the Penrith office of O’Reilly, Chartered Accountants, a leading local accountancy practice. Armstrong Watson is a chartered accountancy practice, business strategists and financial advisers currently celebrating 145 years of supporting, advising and protecting clients’ interests all across it heartland of Cumbria.
Sixteen staff from O’Reilly will be joining the established Armstrong Watson team. The Penrith office is headed by Partner Margaret Hill who has grown up in the area and has a strong bond with the business and local communities and Steve Pinguey is also a Penrith Partner with key strengths within the agricultural markets and a good local knowledge.
As a newly combined team Margaret and Steve will work closely with everyone to ensure clients and staff benefits from this strengthened union. They will be working with everyone to provide a true proactive service drawing on the Armstrong Watson wider group strengths delivering accountancy, audit, business and personal tax, corporate finance, payroll, insolvency, financial planning and wealth management.
