Transfer of local mortgage advice business

Retirement of Andrew Mitchell of Mortgage Matters

After some 30 years working in the world of finance in Cumbria, I am now retiring. For the past 19 years I have been providing mortgage advice under my trading name of Mortgage Matters, and I hope I have brought to a satisfactory conclusion every case I have dealt with.  I wish to thank each and every client for their support over the years.

Of course I would not want my many clients to suddenly have no point of contact for any future requirements they have, so without any hesitation, I am delighted that Armstrong Watson, a very well known and prestigious firm of accountants and financial advisers will be taking over the Mortgage Matters business.

It means you will all have continuity and having dealt with Armstrong Watson for around 30 years, I know you are in very safe hands.

Thanks again to everyone who has supported me.

Andrew Mitchell

Andrew Kilby, Managing Director at Armstrong Watson Financial Planning comments:-

I am very pleased that Andrew has asked us to take over Mortgage Matters and ensure his clients receive continuity in terms of the advice, service and support they need. Steve Hardaker, our mortgage adviser based in Carlisle has many years experience in the local market place and in providing both residential and commercial mortgage solutions for clients.

I also wish Andrew a very happy retirement.

Paul Dickson, Chief Executive at Armstrong Watson Financial Planning comments:-

We find that our clients really value the knowledge and experience we can bring in helping them with perhaps the most emotive purchase they make. In a world of increasing financial complexity, we are focused on helping our clients secure the right solution when they buy property.
