Armstrong Watson LLP, Accountants, Business and Financial Advisers, Leeds are celebrating following a bumper financial year for the office.
The city centre firm has seen rapid expansion throughout 2017/18, with the team growing to over 80 strong, aided by the addition of four new senior people during the last 4 months alone.
Morag Miller joined the firm as Partner in January to head up the Health Care Division, bringing with her Anna-Marie Burke and Andrea Burnett. She was closely followed by Rob Adamson, who joined as Partner in the swiftly growing Restructuring, Recovery and Insolvency service line. Meanwhile, Olivia Rawlinson joined the team as Senior Tax Consultant and Chris Redman has recently been appointed in the role of Financial Planning Consultant.
Leeds Restructuring Recovery and Insolvency (RRI) Partner, Mike Kienlen, was also recently announced as the first Chairman of the firm, which will see him support Chief Executive Officer, Paul Dickson, with the leadership and strategic positioning of Armstrong Watson, with a specific focus on increasing Armstrong Watson’s presence in Yorkshire. Mike will also retain his role within the RRI team.
Commenting on the Leeds office achievements, Matt Osbourne, Lead Office Partner said:
“What’s pleasing is that there is more to come – we’re building a really exciting team here in Leeds and with everyone pulling in the right direction and working hard for our clients, I’m certain we can achieve great things.”
Mike Kienlen, Armstrong Watson Chairman and RRI Partner, added:
“It’s a very exciting time for the practice across Leeds and Yorkshire. Throughout the region, the teams in Leeds, Skipton and Northallerton have continued to work well together. The collegiate nature of our approach across all service lines is really adding benefit for our clients as we help them through the opportunities and challenges they face through the business and personal life cycle.”
