About Matt
After spending his formative years at a large independent firm, Matt spent the following 10 years providing audit services at a national firm in Leeds, working with some of the region’s most high profile businesses. However, Matt’s passion for advising family and owner managed businesses saw him return to his independent practice roots when he joined Armstrong Watson in March 2014.
During his career, Matt has also spent time outside of practice, working within businesses across the UK and Europe. This experience has given Matt a unique commercial insight as well as specific expertise in business planning, cash flow forecasting and the provision of tailored management information solutions.
Matt is also passionate about helping local businesses expand overseas and his involvement with the MSI Global Alliance gives him access to expertise from across the globe, enabling his clients to take advantage of the international market, while managing the risks and pitfalls
