Information provided by Bureau Van Dijk (data compiled from Companies House) shows that the number of company incorporations have risen during the calendar year 2013 across all our regions compared to 2012.  This is yet a further sign that the economic outlook is improving.

Cumbria has seen a 9% increase in the number of Limited Company incorporations. The last time this number of incorporations happened in Cumbria was back in 2007. Dumfriesshire showed an increase of 5%, Northumbria and North Yorkshire posted a modest 1% increase on last year and West Yorkshire recorded an increase in line with UK average increase of 7%.
