Family Business Conference

Following the success of the inaugural 2016 event, the second Family Business Conference will take place on Thursday 19th October at The Halston in Carlisle.

We're joining forces with The Family Business Network Cumbria, Lancashire & Yorkshire to offer this unique opportunity to hear from - and network with - high profile family business leaders, household names and rising stars from across the North of England.

Family Business speakers from a variety of sectors and regions will share their experiences, challenges and innovations, alongside valuable insight offered by industry experts and government influencers.

The conference will be opened by John Stevenson MP for Carlisle and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Family Business, followed by a host of esteemed family business owners including William Robinson of fifth generation Robinson’s Brewery and Fred Story of Story Homes and Story Contracting. The event will also include a workshop session with Jacqui Johnson, a ‘Next Generation’ panel session with family business rising stars and the launch of the Armstrong Watson 2018 Family Business Survey.
