Legal Sector Breakfast Briefing

Armstrong Watson and Clydesdale Bank would like to invite you to the next of our regular series of Breakfast Briefings for the Legal Services Market.

As with our previous events, invites are restricted to key decision makers within key regional firms.  Our intention is to hold these events for a select group of no more than 20 regular attendees.  That way we can attract high quality nationally recognised speakers to present on law firm management issues.

“How to Herd Cats”

The presentation will look at a practical guide to getting your partners to work as a team.  It focuses on the essentials of creating a great team and the importance of this for running a successful business. Delegates will be given practical ideas to try with their own partners or within a departmental team.

Speaker Profiles

Purple Performance: Purple Performance is a business consultancy which focuses on helping professional service firms to embed a performance culture. They use their own Review | Reshape | Reward  methodology  developed by combining innovative thinking with solid management techniques, thus enabling business owners to achieve the rewards they deserve.  Jed and Lis bring the rare combination of a strategic thinker and business growth expert with the practical experience of a former law firm owner who successfully overcame a number of business challenges.

Elisabeth Bellamy: Lis is the former managing partner of a successful medium sized law firm and has previously worked for larger firms including Baker and McKenzie in Singapore. Lis combines the insight of an experienced fee-earner with many years of law firm management. She is also a member of the Law Society Professional Standards and Ethics Committee.

Jed Hassid: Jed is a Business Growth expert, experienced in working with board-level decision makers to define and implement key business strategies and so drive shareholder value. His main areas of expertise include Strategic and Business Planning. He specialises in working with service firms in general and professional service firms in particular.
