A growing team focussed on building relationships and offering face-to-face advice

We are bucking a general trend in financial services by growing the number of face-to-face financial advisers in our team. 

We have recently taken on two additional Financial Planning Consultants to support the growing need of quality and bespoke financial planning advice to individuals and businesses in the Carlisle and North Cumbria areas. 

Steve Shovlin (seen on the right) joins Armstrong Watson Financial Planning with over 20 years’ experience in supporting and advising clients after working at both Santander and RBS locally in Carlisle. 

Marcus Dodds has over 11 years’ experience following positions held at Co-op Insurance, Santander and Barclays Bank. Both Steve and Marcus are well known in the local community. 

Steve comments:
‘I am thrilled to join the team at Armstrong Watson and support clients in achieving their financial goals offering advice and solutions from the whole of the market tailored to each client. Listening is crucial in order to gain a depth of understanding of what a client requires to meet their financial objectives. My role is to offer the best advice, taking into account all possible options and solutions available to meet their needs and I get great satisfaction in being able to help clients achieve this.

Marcus comments:
