We are delighted to announce that our tax team has been shortlisted for two awards including ‘Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm’ and ‘Best Tax Investigations Team’ at the National Taxation Awards 2017.

These national awards recognise the best in the taxation industry, celebrating excellence and promoting the highest standards possible.

After winning the award for ‘Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm’ in 2015 and being a finalist in the ‘Best Tax Investigations Team’ last year, we are hoping to scoop two accolades this year.

Linda Blaker, Taxation Awards commented:

‘Many congratulations for reaching the shortlist as the standard of entrants was incredibly high. The judges had a tough job of determining the shortlist this year.’

Graham Poles, Tax Partner comments:

‘After winning Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm two years ago, we are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for Best Tax Practice in a Regional Firm again this year. Last year we were finalists in the ‘Best Tax Investigations Team’ category and so this year we are hopeful that we will be coming home with not one, but two awards! Being shortlisted for another two prestigious awards is testament to our tax team and the work they do in supporting our clients. Our team is able to support our clients with their specialist knowledge in what is an increasingly complex area for any individual or business. It’s wonderful that our whole team plays a part in delivering this first class advice to our clients, and being shortlisted for these awards is recognition of that support. A tax investigation can be a very worrying time for an individual or business and so this is where having close relationships really makes a big difference to how we deal with any enquiry. The standard of national entries is always very high so to be shortlisted for both these awards is a real achievement.’

Paul Dickson, Managing Partner comments:

‘I am very proud that our tax team have once again been recognised on a national scale for their hard work and dedication to providing our clients with the highest levels of service and support possible. It is a direct reflection upon our commitment to being the best we can be, and I hope the team will be able to add another two awards to their collection in May.’

The winners will be announced at a lavish ceremony in the grand ballroom of the London Hilton Park Lane hotel on Thursday 18 May 2017
