About Matty
Matty is a Senior Manager in Armstrong Watson's Audit & Assurance team, based in the Leeds office.
A Chartered Certified Accountant, Matty joined Armstrong Watson in 2025 and has significant experience gained across Big Four, Top 10 and regional accountancy firms, including PwC, Grant Thornton and Shorts Chartered Accountants. He has worked with businesses of all sizes, from local owner-managed companies to large multinational groups and household names.
Known for his proactive approach, clear communication and ability to build strong relationships, Matty combines technical expertise with a commercial mindset to help clients navigate complex reporting challenges and make confident, informed decisions.
He also plays an active role in developing Armstrong Watson's presence across South Yorkshire, working closely with local businesses, advisers and professional networks throughout the region.
