If you are finishing school or college, or looking to start on a new career path, one of our apprenticeships programmes might be the perfect option for you.
We’re an expanding business and the sky really is the limit with us.
When you’re with Armstrong Watson, you will be welcomed with rewarding work and a fantastic learning environment to reach your potential.
Alongside our Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) programmes, we have also recently launched our Payroll Academy, providing a greater number of apprenticeship opportunities for those looking to start a career with Armstrong Watson. Further details about the Payroll Academy can be found here
'We are very proud that in 2018 we were named by the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) as one of the 'top 5 firms in the UK in which to kick start your accountancy career'.
Our training programme is perfect for you if:
An AAT Level 4 is equivalent to a Higher Diploma or the first year of a degree. There will be plenty of on-the-job training to develop invaluable skills and you will be supported over a 3 year period to gain sought after accounting qualifications, establishing a solid foundation for a successful career in accounting. We also offer the prestigious Chartership (ACA) qualification, following on from AAT or after your degree, for those with the highest level of academic ability (it's tough at the top!)
You will be enrolled as a member of the AAT and will receive lots of useful information sent direct from your new professional body. Don’t worry, we pick up the tab for your membership fees.
If you would like to apply for our AAT or ATT apprenticeship scheme, please get your applications in by midnight on Sunday 10 April 2022.
A lot of our colleagues have joined us straight from school and we are proud to provide the support and training needed.
We know what we are doing… check out our video to find out how one of our trainees beat off stiff competition to become shortlisted for 'InCumbria Trainee of the Year 2018'.
“It is exciting to be studying the AAT qualification one day a week and working four days a week. On the job training and studying is a really good way to build up knowledge and skills.”
Amelia Cummins-MacLeod – Accounting Assistant
