We are looking for our next stars of the future to kick start their career with us through our exciting work experience programme – we want you if you have ambition and an interest in an exciting career with Armstrong Watson!
We are keen to offer work experience to those who are finishing Year 11 or older, with opportunities across most of our offices. We require candidates to have or be predicted to achieve at least 5 GCSEs graded between 9-4 (A*- C).
You can apply for work experience with us from January 2022 with the applications closing in April 2022. We will then review the applications and invite the successful candidates to join us for 1 week (Monday to Friday) between 1st May and 31st July 2022.
Following on from one week of work experience, for those who are really serious about an exciting career in a professional firm, you may be interested in applying for one of our vacancies. Don’t forget to mention that you’ve completed work experience with us! We have lots of instances of our work experience students being successful in achieving a permanent role with us.
We aim to give individuals a real insight into the working days of colleagues at Armstrong Watson, whilst gaining practical experience and knowledge that will help to develop skills and confidence within the workplace.
Some of the departments our work experience students will be able to gain more knowledge in are Accounting; Audit & Assurance; Tax Consultancy; Corporate Finance; Forensic Accounting and Restructuring & Insolvency. Based at our Head Office in Carlisle, we also have opportunities in our Payroll Bureau, People Team, Internal Accounts and Marketing & Business Development Team.
We try our best to ensure that those who are invited to join us for work experience can work within a department that they’re really interested in.
