Xero Tips and Tricks - Inbuilt Calculator

Did you know that Xero has an inbuilt calculator that can be used within the Quantity, Unit Price and Disc % fields of invoices (classic invoicing only) which allows you to perform basic arithmetic functions?  These are:

Add + 495.12+56.89 
Subtract -

112.33-16 
Multiply * 49.95*1.15 
Divide / 560/.33 
Group () (25.95*.75)+10 

After you’ve entered the calculation in a field press the Enter or Tab key and Xero will calculate the result. 

This inbuilt calculator is also available in the debit and credit fields for manual journals.  However, you should always consult with your accountant if you need to use a manual journal.
