About Richard

Richard is a Partner and Head of Corporate Finance at Armstrong Watson.  His 30 Year career has been spent exclusively advising SME Owners and Investors on all aspects of Corporate Finance.  His Sector experience includes Recruitment, Travel, Hotel and Leisure, and Property and Construction.  He works closely with Owners and Investors over extended periods and advises on Strategic Planning, Investment Appraisal, Transaction Project Management and Post Transaction Integration, giving him a deep understanding on not only specific transactions but the long term strategic objectives of the client. 

Richard splits his time between the Glasgow and London Offices, where he is Lead Partner.

Prior to joining Armstrong Watson, Richard was Managing Director of Haines Watts in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and a Partner in RSM (formerly Baker Tilly).

Away from the office, Richard spends most of his time outdoors, either in the garden, on the golf course, or hillwalking with his wife Teresa and their dogs.
