Business Accelerator

Join us for our breakfast event and hear from John Stevenson, MP for Carlisle who will take us through an appraisal of the Brexit campaign including a debate as to whether individuals and businesses are better staying or leaving the EU.

Our in-house experts David Graham and Helen Thornley will give an overview on International Taxes as well as trading abroad and its implications.

This is the second of three of our seminars in 2016, which are designed to update Business Owners and Financial Directors on topical accounting, business and tax matters. We also provide a forum for you to meet people in similar roles, creating a network to share ideas.

Brexit - It's Decision Day

John Stevenson will take us through an appraisal of the Brexit campaign.
It’s decision day and he will take a hypothetical view on what we may encounter over the next few years in the UK dependant on whether we have chosen to stay or go. This will include questions from the floor and the option to open a debate from guests attending the event as to whether individuals and businesses are better staying or leaving the EU.

David Graham, VAT Consultant at Armstrong Watson
David will set out the current VAT treatment of trade with the EU and how a vote for Brexit may impact upon this.

Helen Thornley, Senior Tax Consultant at Armstrong Watson
Helen will look at how we use our membership of MSI Global Alliance, an association of independent legal and accountancy firms, to provide joined up, cross border advice to help our clients.
