The session will deal with the following:
Douglas Mill spent 18 years in private practice and over 11 years as Secretary and Chief Executive of the Law Society of Scotland. Prior to this he was the Deputy Director for the Centre for Professional Legal Studies at Strathclyde University and the leader of the Law Society Practice Advisory Service.
Douglas is Author/co-author of the following publications; “Successful Practice Management”; “Successful law Firm Manager”; and “Managing the Professional Partnership”.
Douglas is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and has held the post of President of the International Institute of Law Association Chief Executives from 2006 to 2008.
Douglas Mill Consulting has developed a range of services for individual professionals, small, medium and large firms and in-house departments. Few firms really require a dedicated managing partner but most will benefit from a service giving them the benefits of managerial expertise on call.
Douglas Mill Consulting provides a solution to all solicitors’ management CPD requirements on the basis of quality and development rather than mere fulfilment.
