Legal Sector Breakfast Briefing - Hull

Why law firm mergers fail

Wolf Shark and Co Ltd and Puppydog Kitten & Co LLP are looking to merge although there are certain areas that need to be addressed before this can complete such as name, management, profit sharing, cars, borrowing and profitability.

Paul Bennett (Bennett Briegal LLP) and Mark Briegal (Bennett Briegal LLP) will assume the roles of Managing Director and Managing Partner of the respective firms and act out a typical scenario that is not uncommon in such negotiations, moderated by our own Tom Blandford.

A witty acting performance will serve to highlight very real differences that are common in many such deals and attempt to provide you with ideas and answers on how to resolve such issues
