Legal Sector Breakfast Briefing - Newcastle

Armstrong Watson, New Park Court and Yorkshire Bank would like to invite you to the next of our regular series of ‘Breakfast Briefings’ for the Legal Services Market in Newcastle.  As with the last event, we will be running this Briefing via Teams and changing the time to 10am.

Although now using technology, as with our previous events, invites are still being restricted to key decision makers within key regional firms with a select group of regular attendees.  That way we will still attract high quality nationally recognised speakers to present on law firm management issues.

Building New Business

How successful are you and your people at delivering new business? How many of your clients would - and do - recommend you to others? And how do you know?

One of the biggest barriers to sales is that very word: sales.  But what if we think about it as influencing, something we all do many times a day?

Simon will talk to you about his own journey from the public to private sector and how that has given him a real insight into the challenges facing professional services in building new business.

From the Sales Process to building true advocacy, he will provide a snapshot of some ways of overcoming these challenges, and moving towards a team of truly effective influencers.

Speaker Profile – Simon Graves

Simon is a coach and workshop facilitator at PDW Group, having previously been in education for over 20 years as a secondary school English teacher and headteacher.  Although vastly different contexts, his core purpose remains the same: to enable others to be the very best they can be, whatever their field.  He has had great success working with professional services delegates from manager level up to partner level, including those in the legal sector, both through facilitating experiential workshops and delivering 1:1 coaching.
