Legal Sector Breakfast Briefing - York

Armstrong Watson, Lloyds Bank and Dere Street Barristers would like to invite you to the next of our regular series of ‘Breakfast Briefings’ for the Legal Services Market in York.  As with the last event, we will be running this Briefing via Teams and changing the time to 10am.

Although now using technology, as with our previous events, invites are still being restricted to key decision makers within key regional firms with a select group of regular attendees.  That way we will still attract high quality nationally recognised speakers to present on law firm management issues.

How to get the most out of remote working … and what to avoid

This interactive session will consider the pros and cons of remote working in the context of how Covid-19 has challenged virtually all businesses, inside and outside the legal sector, to review how they operate.

It will consider the impact of remote working on a law firm’s most valuable assets and offer suggestions on how firms can look to optimise the benefits whilst minimising the costs. The session will also address the topic of remote working from the firm’s point of view - i.e. as a business looking to compete in a changed environment that, arguably, is unlikely to return to the way that it was any time soon, or ever.

Finally the session will look to some of the ways in which businesses outside the legal sector are looking to operate in this “new normal” and consider the extent to which law firms can apply similar techniques to enhance their overall performance.
