Live Webinar: An Audience With... 'Pint Sized Farmer' Sally Urwin

The Armstrong Watson Agri Team would like to invite you to join us for the first in a series of special online events.

Each one will be hosted by Armstrong Watson’s Head of Agriculture, Andrew Robinson and will feature a different guest from the farming community.

The series begins with 'Pint Sized Farmer', Sally Urwin - probably the shortest farmer in England!

She left her city career in 2004 to live on High House Farm in Northumberland with her husband Steve. Now they have two children and 200 sheep.

She helps manage the farm, looks after the sheep, and in her spare time has written a book: “Diary of a Pint-Sized Farmer: A Year of Keeping Sheep, Raising Kids, and Staying Sane”.

Andrew and Sally will discuss the often-hilarious realities of farming family life with everything from stock sales to lambing sheds as well as divulging more about the inspiration for her book.

We’ll learn exactly how they have successfully diversified at High House Farm by converting their Grade 2 listed farm buildings into not only an award-winning tearoom, wedding venue and microbrewery but also by renting out their paddock to a glamping company.

Please click below to register and join us for what promises to be a very interesting session. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the event.

We'd encourage you to submit any questions in advance that you would like to ask either Sally or our Agri team and we will do our best to answer them during the course of the event.
