Managing cashflow

Cash is the lifeblood of any business. When cash is squeezed, payments can be missed, putting the business at risk. If you are concerned that you do not have enough cash to pay everyone on time, seeking assistance to help manage your cash position can be the difference between survival and failure.

Cashflow management

Often the most overlooked, but definitely most important, managing cash effectively can be the difference between a business being able to survive and it failing. Having an accurate picture of the business’ cash position is therefore vitally important.

If a business is facing a cash flow crisis, we will first carry out a quick overview to determine the position and what action needs to be taken immediately. If there is time, we will work with management to understand its liquidity and working capital cycle to identify pinch points, liaising with stakeholders to manage expectations. Where the cash crisis is more immediate, we will work with management to manage the short term cash position whilst a suitable solution can be found.

Case Study: Project Daimler

There were concerns around the business’ cash position and liquidity as the directors were asking for additional lending (over and above their normal facility) on an increasingly regular basis.
