Martyn has worked in financial services since 1999, during which time he has enjoyed supporting and helping individuals and businesses with their financial planning. As a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, he has developed skills and experience to work with a broad range of client needs in a personable and approachable way.
He is particularly experienced in and keen to help people preparing for their retirement and uses his expertise in this area to deliver client focused, clear and understandable advice.
Martyn joined Armstrong Watson in late 2021, following on from a successful period of consulting with us to help further develop our retirement planning proposition. As well as significant client facing advice experience, he has also held senior roles leading advice teams and providing expertise on internal regulatory and client servicing projects.
He is proud to support the Personal Finance Society’s Education Champion’s programme, volunteering to deliver financial education workshops for 11-18 year olds, aiming to address the lack of money talk in schools.
