Paul Dickson, Managing Partner comments:

‘I am extremely proud to announce that two of our Directors have been admitted in to Partnership at Armstrong Watson.

Matt Osbourne, was promoted from Corporate Director in our Leeds office. He joined us just over two years ago and has been a real asset in delivering audit and planning advice to our clients in Yorkshire.  This promotion is recognition of the fantastic contribution that Matt has made in making a real difference to clients and to the firm.

Andrew Kennon was promoted from Corporate Director in our Carlisle office and  since completing our training programme to become a Chartered Accountant, has continued to fulfil his potential as a rising star within the Audit & Assurance Team.  Andrew has throughout his career, been extremely committed to Armstrong Watson, providing proactive advice to clients.  Andrew is passionate about the clients he works with, having a real desire to see them succeed.
Both Andrew and Matt are great additions to the partner team and personify what we want and need from new partners.  I am looking forward to working with them as partners.’

Matt Osborne comments:

‘My move to Armstrong Watson fulfilled a long term career goal of working for an independent, growing, progressive accountancy firm.  Over the course of the last two years I have enjoyed getting to know my clients and helping them with their growth plans as the UK economy has slowly crept out of recession. My promotion demonstrates my commitment to the firm and to our clients for the long haul. I look forward to continuing and developing new and existing client relationships for the next 25 years.’

Andrew Kennon comments:

‘Having started my professional career at Armstrong Watson, I have gained invaluable experience working with businesses throughout their life cycle, allowing me to understand their needs and aspirations. My progression within the firm has allowed me to get to know my clients and help deliver, not only their business goals, but their individual goals too. This is what I love and enjoy! Being a member of the partnership demonstrates my commitment for the long term and I’m looking forward to building and developing existing and new relationships in my new role as partner.’
