About Daryl
Daryl brings more than 25 years’ experience advising businesses and individuals on financial, restructuring and insolvency matters, having spent his entire career with Armstrong Watson. He joined the firm in 1995 as a trainee and qualified as a Chartered Accountant, initially building his expertise within the corporate audit team where he gained a deep understanding of financial reporting, governance and the operational challenges facing a wide range of organisations.
In 2004, Daryl moved into Corporate Recovery, later qualifying as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and becoming a Partner in 2007. He has since focused exclusively on restructuring and insolvency, supporting clients through both challenging and strategic moments in their business lifecycle.
Daryl advises a diverse portfolio of clients, from individuals navigating financial difficulty to business owners planning structured exits. His work includes guiding companies through periods of distress, as well as delivering solvent restructuring solutions and tax-efficient extractions, including Members’ Voluntary Liquidations.
Practical and solutions-focused, Daryl is known for cutting through complexity to provide straightforward, actionable advice. He takes pride in helping clients understand their options and move forward with clarity, whether that involves stabilising a situation or planning for the next stage.

Daryl Warwick acted as liquidator for one of the University’s subsidiaries which had ceased trading. Daryl provided a clear timeline and prompt and tailored advice along the way. It was particularly useful to have him attend board meetings as it gave the Directors clarity on the process that was being followed and confidence in what was being proposed.
