About David
Having completed his degree at Lancaster University in 1991, David worked for a number of large financial services businesses in the Midlands before settling with his family, back in Lancaster and joining Armstrong Watson in 2003. In 2005 David became our Financial Planning Director and managed our team of advisers throughout the North of England and the South of Scotland and in 2012 he became a Partner of the firm combining managing a team of advisers with continuing to advise his own clients.
David is passionate about face to face financial advice and about adding value to clients. He takes pride in his technical knowledge and experience and has now been a Chartered Financial Planner for more than a decade. However he believes that being able to give quality advice and build great long term relationships with clients is about more than knowledge. It is about being interested, engaged and determined to seek the best outcomes for his clients.
