About Ed

Ed joined the Restructuring and Insolvency team in 2023 as a Director with 15-years’ insolvency experience for Big 4 firms leading insolvency, advisory & contingency planning engagements across various sectors including: retail, real estate, manufacturing, and leisure, and in 2024 Ed was promoted to Partner. 

Just prior to joining Armstrong Watson, Ed spent 8-years as Head of Finance/Financial Director for Yorkshire-based SME companies operating in the property development, leisure, and construction sectors.

Ed’s unique and broad experience in both industry and practice has helped him develop a deeper understanding of the business needs faced by stakeholders when challenged by financial distress and provides him with the knowledge and skill to guide businesses through often difficult times.
