Legal Sector Benchmarking Report -  A trend for firms to have a smaller number of equity partners?

Legal Sector Benchmarking Report

The latest Armstrong Watson Legal Sector Benchmarking report is available to download from our website now and includes our analysis and comparison of the years ending 2019 and 2020.

Some of the highlights of the report include:

  • An increase in fee income per fee earner
  • An increase in profit per equity partner (PEP) despite decreases in net profit percentages
  • A changing trend towards larger (by reference to turnover) firms having a smaller number of true equity partners, requiring higher average capital account balances but significantly higher PEP

Further detail and analysis on the above highlights, as well as other key measures are included in the full report.
