About Murray

Murray joined Armstrong Watson Financial Planning in January 2026 and has extensive experience across the financial services industry.

With a background as a senior trader in the London Stock Exchange (Glasgow market), where he worked for 15 years after leaving school, Murray started his career as a financial adviser in 2002, joining Co-operative Insurance Services. Before joining Armstrong Watson, he led a local company, which was an authorised representative of St James’s Place Wealth Management.

Murray, who is based at our Glasgow office, supports clients on all aspects of financial advice and has a particular interest in retirement planning.
