Payroll Team Celebrate UK First with PAS & PQP Double Accreditation

The Armstrong Watson Payroll and Employee Services team achieve success once again.

The company are the first accountancy payroll services firm in the UK to be accredited with both the Payroll Assurance Scheme (PAS) kite mark and the Payroll Quality Partnership (PQP) kite mark.

The payroll team are pleased the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) has re-accredited the department with the PQP accreditation, which tests the measures in place to ensure the payroll team have the right skills and knowledge to carry out their duties. In addition, it demonstrates the team have an excellent learning and development programme available to them.

The team were also audited on the standard of the operational payroll processes and procedures. These were found to be robust, leading to fit and proper processes and compliance with government legislation.
