Payroll Team Shortlisted for 7 National Awards

We are very proud to announce that their payroll team has been shortlisted six times in five different categories at the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) Annual Excellence Awards and also confirmed as a finalist for the ‘Technology Award’ at the ‘Rewards 2018’ (the leading independent awards for Payroll, HR and Reward professionals).

The CIPP awards recognise the best in their field and Armstrong Watson’s nominations - and nominees - were shortlisted in the following categories:

• Nicole Hagan-Kidd (Payroll Administrator) for Newcomer of the Year
• Amy Johnson (Payroll Team Leader) for Manager of the Year
• Allison Little (Payroll Manager) for Manager of the Year
• Payroll Service Provider of the Year
• Project of the Year
• Karen Thomson (Director of Group Payroll Services) for My Biggest Influencer

The payroll ‘Project of the Year’ nomination was for the team’s ‘Bostik’ initiative which involved streamlining and automating payroll to an online process, replacing physical payroll files with a cloud equivalent and creating a more secure and efficient service delivery.

Payroll Director Karen was unaware that she had been nominated for the ‘My Biggest Influencer’ award, where individuals can put forward a personal nomination for someone who has helped, supported and positively impacted on their own payroll career. Karen will find out who has nominated her on the evening of the event - when all winners will be announced - on Thursday 6^th October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
