Covid-19: Government Grants

We're concerned that some businesses could miss out on vital coronavirus grants because they don't know how to access government funding.

Some boroughs are managing the application process differently, i.e. some are writing to businesses directly to ask for bank details, whilst others are relying on businesses completing an online application form. We advise that you check your local borough application process using the list below and advise that you keep a close eye on their social media channels for latest updates too.

The two schemes availble to businesses are as follows:

• £10,000 grant for any business, regardless of sector, that receives Small Business Rate Relief or Rural Rate Relief;
• £25,000 grant for businesses in retail, hospitality or leisure in premises with a rateable value of more than £15,000 (£18,001 in Scotland) but under £51,000.
